Wondering where to take your clothing castoffs?

From reports

With spring upon us, many local residents maybe doing some spring cleaning — resulting in clothing and shoes that aren’t exactly what they want, but still have a life of usefulness left. But where can you take it now that there is a lack of thrift stores locally?

Good news! There is a local place to donate your unwanted items — The Whitley County 10:25 Closet.

There is a drop off location in The Whitley County 10:25 Closet at First Church of God in Columbia City on Depoy Drive, just off US 30. Drop off donations are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

They accept clean clothing and shoes, and offer them to those who need it in the community.

For ease of processing donations, volunteers request that clothing and shoes be donated in a bag or a box. Please do not place loose clothing in the drop off center.

Additionally, if you have a large amount of donations (six or more bags or boxes), please contact First Church of God to schedule a drop off time directly with volunteers of the 10:25 Closet.
