Whitley County’s Lighted Christmas Parade is tonight

The 11th annual Whitley County Lighted Christmas Parade begins at 6 p.m. tonight. The route begins on Van Buren Street at Walnut Street, traveling eastward to Chauncey Street and south to City Hall in downtown Columbia City. This year’s title sponsor is Northeastern REMC.

Immediately following the parade, a tree lighting ceremony will be held on the Whitley County Courthouse lawn.

Santa will welcome visitors to his house immediately following the parade.

The parade committee also thanks their in-kind sponsors, including the City of Columbia City, Indigo Studio, The Hoot News, Ena’s Playpen Childcare, Joe & Charlie Wigent.
