The Watershed Foundation is excited to invite the public to participate in the annual Picture Your Watershed photo contest by casting their votes for the coveted “People’s Choice Award.” The online voting platform is now live, allowing individuals to play a vital role in celebrating and recognizing the captivating images captured by talented photographers who showcased the beauty of our local watershed.
“The annual photo contest is part of The Watershed Foundation’s commitment to raising awareness about environmental conservation and bringing the beauty of our watershed to the forefront,” said Jennifer Zartman Romano, communications coordinator for The Watershed Foundation. “We have garnered a very impressive array of submissions from passionate photographers across the community this year and, honestly, we can’t wait to share them! Each photograph tells a unique story or perspective, highlighting the importance of preserving and protecting our cherished water resources.”

About The Watershed Foundation
TWF was founded in 1997 to protect and improve water quality in the upper Tippecanoe River Watershed, spanning from Crooked Lake in Whitley County to the Warsaw and Winona Lake area. During the past 26 years, TWF has worked with farmers and lake residents to implement more than 325 water quality improvement projects. In the last five years alone, these efforts have prevented more than one billion pounds of weeds and algae from growing in area lakes and streams.
