The Watershed Foundation seeking board candidates

The Watershed Foundation, the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the waters of our local lakes, is currently in search of passionate and proactive individuals to join the board of directors.

“We are in pursuit of board members who are not only willing to be engaged, but also actively contribute to our mission of environmental conservation and community education,” said Lyn Crighton, executive director of The Watershed Foundation.

“We believe in the power of committed individuals coming together to make a significant impact,” said Natalie Fierek, chair of the organization’s governance committee. “As we expand our board, we are seeking individuals who are eager to roll up their sleeves, share their expertise and actively participate in our initiatives. Their engagement will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization and fostering a deeper connection with our community — reaching from Whitley to Noble and Kosciusko Counties.”

The Watershed Foundation invites individuals who are passionate about environmental conservation, community engagement and making a tangible difference in the organization to share their interest and initiate a conversation about open board positions.

“We encourage those who share our vision to come forward and contribute their unique perspectives, skills and dedication to our cause,” added Fierek.

Interested candidates are encouraged to call (574) 834-3242 or email admin@watershedfoundation.org
