(The Hoot photo provided) The Art of Egolf, an exhibition of work by Whitley County artist Douglas L. Egolf, above in costume at his event, was formally unveiled in a Friday, October 13th show at 2nd Floor Art Gallery in Churubusco. In honor of the opening, the event featured a live band, hors d’ oeuvres and a masquerade party. Several pieces of Egolf’s imaginative, engaging and often otherworldly work was on display and for sale. Egolf’s work remains on display through the end of the month. 2nd Floor Art Gallery is located at 116 West Washington Street in Churubusco.
