The Whitley County Assessor’s Office has announced that their state mandated Cyclical Reassessment started May 1 and will continue until early fall.

The Assessor’s Office contracted with Nexus to perform the reassessments. They will be in parts of Etna, Jefferson, Richland/Larwill, Smith/Churubusco, Thorncreek and industrial properties in Columbia City.

The field representatives will be in yellow/orange vests and will have county badges. They should be driving a grey Durango, a grey Ford Ranger or a dark blue Chrysler.
