Loon Lake resident Walt Hessler will be a featured speaker on the Indiana Lakes Management Society’s webinar next Tuesday, February 13 at noon.

Hessler, recipient of the ILMS 2023 Volunteer of the Year Award, will speak about the catastrophic events surrounding a fish kill at Loon Lake in 2022 and how the community rallied in support. The event’s other keynote speaker is Adam Casey. Casey will talk about dredging.
