On Sunday evening, Columbia Township Fire Department members gathered for their annual appreciation dinner. Retired and current firefighters, the township trustee, township board members and their significant others were all invited to join in fellowship and enjoy a meal together at The Square in downtown Columbia City.

The following members were recognized and presented with their service pins:
Jeremy Hiss – 20 years
Anna Kelley – 10 years
Jeremy Conrad – 10 years
Ron Gatchell – 1 year
Dylan Johnson – 1 year

The following members were not present, but were also recognized:
Lainey Wooley – 1 year
Jesse Goshorn – 1 year
Gavin Bentley – 1 year
