Cadet Astoria Smith and Firefighter Carter Vanhouten graduated from the Columbia City Fire Academy Firefighter I/II.

Smith and Vanhouten took the Academy through Churubusco High School and the Columbia City Fire Department and the ceremony was held at the Columbia City High School. Cadet Smith and Firefighter Vanhouten are members of the Churubusco Fire Department.
