(The Hoot News photo provided) Volunteers did some heavy lifting at the museum recently — hefting some new display cases into the Whitley County Historical Museum in Columbia City. Volunteers helping with the display cases included Clay Geiger, Adam Geiger, Trace Geiger, Michael Garcia and Chase Kidd. According to museum staff, the display cases are part of some exciting changes and upgrades in progress at the museum.
