(The Hoot News photo provided) Ronda Sroufe, a resident of South Whitley, is the newest member of the One Community board of directors.

Sroufe is photographed here with her husband, Craig, at left, and their children, a son, Ryder, and a daughter, Sage. She is employed by J.G Cabinet & Counter as the office manager. She has served as a mentor at South Whitley Elementary School for several years.

“I have a passion for serving others and I am so grateful that One Community provides me the opportunity to do what I love,” Sroufe said of her new volunteer role.
