On Monday, Mission 25 hosted two ceremonies to publicly celebrate the growth of the local non-profit organization. Above, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for Mission 25’s new shelter services building at 615-623 North Opportunity Drive in Columbia City. Additionally, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held for Mission 25’s Recovery Engagement Center at 605 South Douglas Avenue in Columbia City where the organization has been providing services for the past year to address addiction recovery, support, offer resources and coaching.
Mission 25’s executive director, Shawn Ellis, was joined by Jan Boggs and Grace Lotter for the milestone celebration (shown together in the photo above). Boggs and Lotter were instrumental in founding the organization as Interfaith Mission’s The Lighthouse more than 20 years ago.
