(The Hoot News photo provided) Saturday evening at approximately 9 p.m., the Columbia Township Fire Department, Whitley County Sheriff’s Department and Parkview EMS were sent to CR 200 South and SR 9 for a multi-vehicle vehicle crash.

Units arriving at the scene found minor injuries. The southbound lane of SR 9 was closed for about an hour while vehicles and debris were removed.

Agencies assisting at the scene included Columbia City Police Department, B&D Towing, and Smith Brothers Towing.

The crash remains under investigation by the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department.
