The Northeast Indiana Local Food Network announces the 5th Annual Local Food Week from Friday, July 26 through Sunday, August 4, 2024. This 10-day celebration of local food features over 110 tours and events hosted by 40 different farms, markets, restaurants, artisan food producers, and organizations across 7 Northeast Indiana counties.
This region-wide event provides an opportunity for the public to visit and connect with those who grow, sell, serve, and support the local food we all love. Come learn where our local food comes from, meet the folks who produce it, and taste the bounty that comes from Our Land to Our Tables.
“We want our 5th Annual Local Food Week celebration to be special. Our planning committee brought together a wonderful collection of fun & delicious events that showcase our region’s growing interest in producing and eating local food. This year, our host farms & businesses include 20 new hosts participating in Local Food Week for the first time, as well as many returning favorites from prior years.” Denise Hoff, Local Food Week Chair and Vice Chair of the Northeast Indiana Local Food Network, explains. “Our hosts offer a wonderful variety of experiences for families, local food enthusiasts and anyone interested in learning about and tasting food & beverages produced with ingredients from right here in Northeast Indiana.”
Most Local Food Week events are free, but some require pre-registration. Plan how you want to celebrate Local Food Week 2024 by checking the detailed tour and event listings on our website or picking up a Local Food Week Companion Guide from any of our Local Food Week hosts.
