(The Hoot News photos provided) Columbia Township Fire Department was dispatched to assist Thorncreek Township Fire Department on a structure fire in the 3600 block of north CR 250 East shortly after 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Columbia Township Fire Department responded with an engine, two tankers and approximately 12 personnel. Also assisting were Churubusco Fire, Union Township Fire, Noble Township Fire, Columbia City Fire & Parkview Whitley EMS. Units had returned to quarters a little after 7 a.m. for clean up.
