Just after 4 a.m. this morning, Monday, October 7, the Churubusco Fire Department (CTFD) was dispatched to assist the Thorncreek Township Fire Department in battling a residential structure fire on the 1100 block of East CR 600 North.

Firefighters from several neighboring departments, including those from Allen, Noble and Whitley Counties, responded to the scene and provided backfill coverage to ensure adequate protection across the region.
