Columbia Township Fire Department probationary firefighter Allen Archbold recently completed fire behavior skills in his academy class. Above, the flashover chamber gives students an immersive experience that brings them up close and personal with what to expect prior to a flashover. This training, according to department leadership, is just one of the many tools provided to firefighters to keep them safe and help them to make good decisions during an emergency.
