City of Columbia City received grant for street repaving

Columbia City Mayor Ryan Daniel announced Thursday that city was awarded a $1.5 million dollar grant to be used across the city for paving projects.

“We are happy to announce that the City of Columbia City, Indiana – Government was awarded a $1.5MM Community Crossings grant for street paving in 2025,” Daniel said. “Thanks to the Indiana Department of Transportation and the Indiana Legislature for their continued support of municipalities through this program!”

Daniel added that segments of streets scheduled to be paved next year include:
