It’s finally starting to look and feel like fall in Whitley County. And while the weather has been warm, a cold snap is coming.

According to the National Weather Service of Northern Indiana, a freeze warning is in effect for Whitley County and many surrounding counties tonight when the temperature will drop to around the freezing mark. Lake effect clouds will mitigate the freeze concern for those outside of the freeze warning area.
