It was an exciting evening for residents in the Southwest District’s Westgate neighborhood. On Wednesday evening, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of the second phase of a long-awaited, much needed three phase $2.2m infrastructure project that included significant upgrades to drainage, new streets, sidewalks and more. The long year of projects and construction was celebrated with a gathering of neighbors. Throughout the gathering, residents could be seen enjoying opportunities to walk, skate, bike and run on the nice new streets and sidewalks.
