GOP applauds Spencer for her service

Jon Myers, Chairman of the Whitley County GOP announced that the Vice Chair of the Central Committee tendered her resignation from the Central Committee effective July 1, 2024. “Denice’s hard work for the party and her strong organizational skills will be greatly missed.” Spencer has been Vice Chair of the Whitley County Republican Party since March of 2021. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in numerous initiatives, demonstrating exceptional leadership and dedication. Her ability to coordinate efforts and engage volunteers has significantly strengthened our party’s presence in the community. Denice’s commitment to our values and her strategic insights have been invaluable, and her absence will undoubtedly be felt by all. We extend our deepest gratitude for her service and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
Chairman Myers is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicki Venable as the new Vice Chair, effective immediately. “(Niki) brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and a strong commitment to the values and principles of the Republican Party. She has done a great job over the last three years, working closely with Denice, as the event organizer for the Central Committee,” said Myers.
Nicki Venable has been an active member of the Republican Party for many years. Her extensive background includes holding various leadership roles, serving on boards and commissions, working within Northeast Indiana to reengage civic involvement in our communities, and serving/volunteering in both our community and the surrounding counties. Venable is known for her ability to establish both personal and professional relationships and unwavering dedication to advancing the party’s mission.
