The Old Settlers Day Association has announced that Brent Bockelman of Columbia City has been named as the 2024 Red Coat recipient.

2024 marks the 120th anniversary of the annual festival.

From left, above, are other recent Red Coats Linda Hyndman, Kim Wheeler, Jim Argerbright and the newest honoree, Brent Bockelman. Hyndman is the 2024 OSD president. Wheeler will serve in 2025, Argerbright will serve in 2026 and Bockelman will serve in 2027.
