Recently, the Whitko Career Academy welding department teamed up with the Larwill Lions Club, the Larwill Community Board and the local fire department to modify the design and manufacture six new fish fryer baskets. The baskets will enhance the production efficiency for the community fish fry.

The fundraiser meal will be held this Saturday, March 23rd, at the Larwill Fire Station, 6538 West CR 100N, Larwill.

They will be serving their signature hand-battered fish and home-made onion rings. Additional sides will be available. Serving starts at 3:30 p.m. and will continue until sold out.

Funds from the event will be divided between the Larwill Fire Station, Community Board, and Lions Club.
