Fans of the legendary Shamrock Shake® and OREO® Shamrock McFlurry® will be able to support Indiana Ronald McDonald House Charities when they make their purchase.
Honoring the legacy of Shamrock Shake’s integral role in the building of the first Ronald McDonald House, McDonald’s restaurants in Indiana are once again donating 25 cents from every Shamrock Shake sold from now through March 18 to Ronald McDonald House Charities across the state.
In 2023, Indiana McDonald’s customers helped raise nearly $84,000 for RMHC.
RMHC of Northeast Indiana in Fort Wayne, RMHC of Central Indiana in Indianapolis, and RMHC of Michiana in South Bend provide care, comfort and support to families, allowing them to heal together while their child receives medical care. Included in these efforts are the Ronald McDonald Houses which provide families a place to stay while their child receives care at a nearby medical facility.
“The partnership with McDonald’s goes beyond a charitable endeavor; it symbolizes a shared commitment to compassion and community,” said Jen Veatch, Chief Executive Officer of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Indiana. “The funds raised through the Shamrock Shake campaign enable us to strengthen our support network for families, reminding them that they are not alone in their journey. We are grateful for McDonald’s dedication to making a lasting impact on the well-being of children and their families.”
Made with creamy vanilla soft serve, blended with Shamrock Shake syrup and topped with a delicious, whipped topping, the Shamrock Shakequickly captured the hearts of America when it was first introduced in 1970. In 2020, McDonald’s put a twist on this delicious classic with OREO® Shamrock McFlurry. The McFlurry is served blended with crushed OREO cookies.
The Shamrock Shake and OREO® Shamrock McFlurry will be available at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide for a limited time, while supplies last.
McDonald’s customers can always support RMHC through the ‘Round Up for RMHC’ program. With every purchase, customers have the opportunity to Round-Up their total to the nearest whole dollar. All of the rounded-up funds go directly to supporting RMHC.
