Registration is open for the 2024 Kosciusko County Indiana Master Naturalist program!
Indiana Master Naturalist (IMN) brings together natural resource specialists with adult learners to foster an understanding of Indiana plants, wildlife, water, and soil among other topics. Classes will meet March through November once a month. Each class meeting typically includes a lecture followed by a field experience with hands-on learning. Those who complete the coursework and 24 hours of approved volunteer work will become certified as Indiana Master Naturalists!
Kosciusko County boasts a wonderful IMN program, winning host of the year in 2019 and attracting participants from other counties across northern Indiana.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. The cost is $175 for one participant or $250 for couples who choose to share books. The program cost covers classes, materials, and books for most topics covered in the program. The class is limited to 20 participants. The application deadline is February 19, 2024 or until the class is filled.
