In a bid to spread holiday cheer, the South Whitley Community Public Library is calling on residents to join in the merriment by sharing their creativity by creating an ornament for the Christmas tree. Swing by the library to collect your ornament, and let your creativity flourish as you adorn it with festive flair.
The adorned ornaments must be returned by December 9, 2023, setting the stage for the much-anticipated People’s Choice voting from December 11 to 18. Excitement will reach its peak as the winner is unveiled on December 19 during the joyous Community Sing-Along.
Not only will the crowned victor be bestowed with a coveted prize, but artists are also encouraged to reclaim their handiwork once the winner is announced. The competition is open to both teens and adults, ensuring that individuals of all ages can contribute to the holiday spectacle.
For the younger artists among us, a separate kids ornament contest awaits in the children’s room. The library, adorned in festive splendor, beckons one and all to partake in this heartwarming celebration of creativity and community spirit.
